Chado is an ancient and elegant ritual, a process of combining tea leaves and water to release aroma and flavor. This traditional practice has been around for thousands of years and is regarded as a form of art and enjoyment.

First, selecting the appropriate tea leaves is crucial. The type and quality of the tea directly influence the flavor and quality of the brewed tea. Green tea carries a fresh herbal aroma, black tea emits a rich fruity fragrance, while oolong tea combines floral and fruity characteristics. Each type of tea has its unique personality and characteristics, tasting different tea leaves is like appreciating different works of art.

Next, prepare the tea utensils. Teapot, teacups, and tea tray are indispensable tools. The shape and material of the teapot can affect the interaction between tea leaves and water, while teacups can showcase the color and fragrance of the tea leaves. Choosing a set of exquisite tea utensils can add elegance and beauty to the process of making tea.

Then, pay attention to the quality and temperature of the water. High-quality water is the foundation for brewing delicious tea, clear and pure water can fully showcase the flavor of the tea leaves. At the same time, different tea leaves require different water temperatures. Generally, green tea requires a lower temperature (around 80-85°C), while black tea and oolong tea require a higher temperature (around 100°C). Controlling the water temperature can bring out the best flavor of the tea leaves.

Now, it's time to brew the tea leaves. Put an appropriate amount of tea leaves into the teapot, pour in the water at the right temperature, and then wait for the meeting of the tea leaves and water. Different tea leaves have different brewing times, usually between 2 to 5 minutes. Stop brewing at the right time to avoid over-soaking the tea leaves and resulting in a bitter taste.

Finally, pour out the tea and savor its aroma and flavor. The essence of the tea lies in the tea water, and when you carefully taste it, you can feel the fragrance and taste of the tea leaves. The aroma, color, and taste of the tea blend together, giving you a unique experience and enjoyment.

Chado is not only a process of making a beverage but also a pursuit and love for life. It combines traditional wisdom, delicate perception, and inner tranquility. Through the process of making tea, we can carefully appreciate every detail and taste the beauty of life.

Whether you are brewing a cup of tea in a peaceful morning or sharing afternoon tea time with friends, Chado brings a sense of calm and pleasure. It is a way to heal the body and mind, allowing us to temporarily escape worries and busyness, and enjoy the tranquility and joy of the present moment.

So, why not take some time and effort to explore the art of Chado, let the aroma and taste of tea brighten your life. This traditional practice not only brings enjoyable experiences but also connects us with nature and art, allowing us to experience the beauty of life.
